Kāpō Māori Aotearoa
The national organisation of Māori who are blind, have low vision or are deafblind. They work to empower and support kāpō Māori across Aotearoa.
AroVā (for Māori and Pasifika peoples)
Every disabled person deserves to be heard, safe and free from harm. AroVā is a free and confidential safeguarding response for disabled Māori in Waikato and South Auckland, and disabled Pacific peoples in Tāmaki Makaurau who are experiencing abuse, neglect, harm, or unsafe situations.
They will guide you, your whānau, aiga, and trusted people to help you feel heard, safe, and supported — in ways that respect your culture, identity, language, and choices.
Whether you need support now, guidance for someone you care about, or help understanding your options, AroVā is there for you.
